Happy Pi Day weirdos! Enjoy the mysteries of the endless number while making your favorite fruity treat or do like one of my coworkers and learn how to program on Raspberry Pi (so jealous of you right now Jane!). It’s also fellow UnGeek and friend Omar’s birthday today. Happy birthday dude!
- Though it’s not genre or writing related directly, Google’s “spring cleaning” announcement definitely has people in both communities talking. The search giant announced that their Reader service, which aggregates rss feeds, will be sunsetted come July 1st. From a personal perspective, this has a huge impact on my day job and writing/blogging work, since I keep an eye on a countless number of blogs. For those interested in finding a replacement, thusfar I’ve found that The Old Reader and Feedly are the two best options that have a similar feel/function similarly to Reader.
Like Catholics awaiting the new pope just a day ago, I anxiously await the arrival of the @RiffTrax for Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 2 today.

- It’s the 25th anniversary of Willow and remastered versions of the film have been released on Blu-Ray and DVD. As a teaser for the video, Val Kilmer and Warwick Davis got together and had a healthy amount of ribbing, as well as boasts that they inspired Peter Jackson’s career. Hilarious video below…
